The Cargo Monster is a heavy duty redesign of the Xtracycle Free Radical cargo concept for use with a much wider range of bicycles -- including recumbent trikes, recumbent bikes, folders, and other unusual bikes. The design uses a common main frame with interchangeable forward connection beams for 20" and 26" wheeled bikes and trikes. The main frame of the Cargo Monster attaches at the dropouts of your bike or trike, right where your rear wheel used to be. A CNC machined clamp attaches to the main tube ahead of the chainstays. As needed, an adapter plate, made specifically for your bike or trike, connects the end of the forward beam to the clamp on the frame.
We are developing kits for recumbent trikes first and following up with kits for unusual upright and recumbent bikes. Recumbent trikes are an awesome cargo platform:

Those are 7 foot (2m) fence posts. Got a few stares coming home, otherwise, no problem!
